Somatic Mentorship for Healing, Resilience & Reconnection

Even the most put-together among us are often carrying an invisible load.

My clients commonly describe this as a tension that never fully unwinds, emotions they don’t feel safe expressing, and the sense they’re always just coping. 

If this resonates, it’s likely you are experiencing nervous system dysregulation. You may be dealing with chronic stress, burnout, looping thoughts, digestive issues, emotional numbness, panic, reactivity, and difficulty relaxing or connecting with others.

It’s not in your head. It’s in your body. And it’s not your fault.

What Causes Nervous System Dysregulation?

Nervous system dysregulation is often the result of early developmental trauma. From attachment ruptures, to overwhelming experiences and needs that went unmet in childhood, these traumas create patterns that can stay stuck in the body for years, silently shaping how we think, feel, love, and live.

Support in identifying and interrupting these patterns is crucial. Unfortunately, the support we seek first isn’t always fit for purpose.The fact is, when the nervous system is dysregulated, it doesn’t matter how many mindset shifts we attempt, our body is still running the same survival programming.

Moving out of survival mode is a process that will look different for everyone. But time and again, I’ve seen gentle, somatic-based mentorship have a profoundly healing impact on my clients.

What is Somatic Therapy and How Does it Work?

Somatic therapy is a trauma-informed approach to nervous system dysregulation that works directly with the body’s stress response to reintroduce safety, and gradually widen your capacity for aliveness, intimacy, clarity, and choice.

Tailored to an individual’s needs, it may involve a combination of hands-on therapy, breathwork, coaching and sensation-based exercises all designed to reconnect you with your body. 

Some of the shifts you may notice include:

  • Less overwhelm and anxiety, more grounded clarity

  • Improved digestion, sleep, libido, and energy

  • Greater emotional resilience and emotional range

  • Deeper connection in relationships and clearer boundaries

  • Freedom from old behavioural patterns, shutdown, or burnout cycles

These are not instant changes, but they are possible, and deeply worth pursuing.

Somatic Mentorship: What to Expect

Each session with me is a spacious container for noticing, feeling, and metabolising. Rather than forcing the body to “fix” or perform, we work relationally: tuning into sensation, supporting your system to come into regulation, and gently renegotiating experiences that have remained stuck.

Over time, this process helps establish what’s known as earned secure attachment: the ability to feel safe, supported, and fully yourself, even in challenging situations.

Depending on what your system needs, sessions may include:

  • Co-regulation practices (resourcing, orienting, pendulation)
  • Gentle hands-on somatic work (informed by TEB/Transforming Touch and Somatic Experiencing)
  • Attachment repair and inner child work
  • Nervous system mapping (learning your survival patterns and how to shift them)
  • Breath, movement, and embodied expression
  • Trauma-informed coaching and compassionate inquiry

WHat is the Method behind EXpand

Expand is grounded in Transforming the Experience-Based Brain (TEB) methodology.
A somatic, attachment-based framework developed by Stephen Terrell that focuses on healing the nervous system at its earliest, experience-based levels. 

This approach recognizes that many of our patterns around safety, connection, and pleasure were formed before words—held in the body, the nervous system, primitive reflexes and our relational templates. Through body-based, regulation-focused, and relationally attuned practices, we work directly with these deeper layers to support lasting change.

Informed by years of practice supporting people in nervous system regulation and relational healing, this work helps cultivate greater capacity for safety, connection, and vitality.

Over time, increased nervous system regulation allows protective patterns to soften, resilience to rebuild, and greater capacity, agency, and inner safety to emerge from within.

I work with a small number of 1:1 clients at a time in a capacity that is both deeply contained, and ongoing. This allows for trust, safety, and real transformation, not just short-term relief.

Sessions are 60 minutes and held virtually. The pricing is $180/session or $1440 for a pack of 12.

I’m currently welcoming new clients.
