wild feminine embodiment weekend retreat in Joshua Tree, CA

October 26th - 29th, 2023

Yoga, Ancestral Rituals, Breath-work Healing Sessions, Mineral Hot Springs, Sacred Sisterhood

All under the Samhain Full Moon

Join me in the reclamation of your wild side

Women have been gathering to be wild since beginning of humanity.

Only in relatively recent history have ecstatic states of liberation through dance, nature, pleasure, community and plant medicine been forbidden and then, forgotten.

By doing this work we walk the path of the Maenads, the Witches, the Dakinis, and claim our right to feel good and be free in our bodies and in our connection to the divine.

Enjoy three days and three nights of daily dynamic yoga, ancient ritual practices, healing breath-work sessions, sacred sisterhood and wild embodiment under the full moon.

We'll use the tools of pleasure, movement, breath, body and community to peel back the layers of conditioning that keep us small and reawaken the wild woman.

I'm finding that women are increasingly needing a safe and private space to let loose and be wild...

A space that restores not depletes them.

A space they leave feeling more themselves, powerful and whole than when they came.

This intimate retreat is that space.

Come be wild and reclaim your ancestral power.

        About the venue

Wonder Valley Hot Springs is a unique property with tastefully renovated homesteader cabins and ranch houses spread over 50 acres.

It is a true desert oasis that offers guests the opportunity to soak in geothermal mineral rich hot-springs that flow directly from the earth. No chemicals are used in these healing waters.

Our main retreat hub is an expansive and light filled ranch house with a large yoga space, communal dining area, patio and two stone soaking tubs. We'll also have access the mineral spring pool and main soaking area a short five minute walk away.

The cabins and houses are simple and elegant and all the linens and decorations are organic and eco-friendly.

Located far from light pollution and traffic noise this desert retreat offers the precious gift silence and darkness. Something increasingly rare.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this retreat best for?

This retreat is for spiritual women of any age who desire a deeper connection with their wild feminine power and who are seeking to do this in community. Because the practices are quite transformative and intense this retreat is not ideal for women who have heavy unprocessed trauma. If you're unsure if this is the right retreat for you reach out here.

What do you mean by "pleasure"? Will there be sexual self touch?

There will be no sexual self touch at the retreat. However, we will be using our breath and bodies to awaken our creative life force energy which is sexual energy. This is often repressed in our culture and the processing of reawakening can be very powerful. We'll be doing this in a safe, consensual and integrated way and there won't be any partner work required.

Will there be nudity?

Because the intention of this retreat is to reclaim our wild selves and shed social/cultural/religious conditioning, clothing is optional in mineral springs, pool area and during the embodiment sessions. You won't have to be nude if you do not feel comfortable but know that it is an option for the participants.

I have dietary restrictions, can I eat the food?

Yes, let me know ahead of time our chef can accommodate all dietary restrictions.

What time does the retreat start and end?

Check in is at 4 pm on Thursday October 26th. We will dinner followed by an evening embodiment practice. Checkout is at 10 am on Sunday October 29th after breakfast and our closing practice.

What's the closest airport?

Palm Springs International is 90 minutes away and LAX is 3 hours away.

Why is it priced the way it is?

Ugh. Running a retreat in the US is expensive primarily due to high costs of food and lodging. Leading a retreat on this level takes a tremendous amount of energy: everything from administrative grunt-work to creative visioning and, of course, leading the retreat itself. Because of this energy investment retreats are priced to be a fair exchange between participant and leader while still covering base costs.

Do you offer scholarships?

At this time no as I am a one woman show. I hope to in the future.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we can do installments.

How many people are you expecting?

8 - 12 is the sweet spot for me! Maximum is 14.
